Prayer A Powerful Belief Of A Good Life, And Peace On Earth
Hope is a powerful belief that is embodied in every man, woman, and child on this planet. Every child hopes he or she gets what they asked for from Santa; every man and woman hopes for success, financial stability, love, a good life, and peace on Earth. Prayer is usually accompanied with hope as a means to pray that what we hope for comes to fruition. Hope can also have a negative meaning as well, sometimes when we feel frustrated with something or someone we will say ââ¬Å"all hope is lost.â⬠In this aspect hope and prayer coincide as well, we pray that all hope is not lost. While hope, and prayer have become universally adopted in our daily activities, most people fail to realize the Biblical application and Doctrine associated with the two. HOPE Theological definition: The theological definition of hope can best be summed up ââ¬Å"hope of the believer.â⬠Most people regard hope as a vague emotion or an optimistic wish for the best. Christians however, know that hope is trusting in the salvation that is given to them when they accept Jesus Christ as their savior. Hope could be considered to be synonymous with faith, in the aspect that to have faith God means one is saves. To have hope from a theological standpoint is not wishing for the best, but knowing you will always be loved by God and are fulfilling his plan.
